Nostalgic Bossa Nova and my own take on slow swinging samba. It features lots of percussion instruments played ‘wrong’ to imitate very close ASMR breathing. We had some takes we were happy with, but then I heard some delicate felt piano playing shimmering in the background, a personal serenade on the edge of silence that sounded like it was only for me, i realised, that is the sound. So we did one more, so the heartbreakingly poignant vocal and saxophone could whisper that secret in to your ear.
