Chasing the Rio Funk groove Partido Alto through a kaleidoscope. Imagine walking through a market in a dream and seeing a woman picking up a slice of blue glass and looking through it. You are entranced by light dancing and flickering in her eyes, but there is something too symmetric that doesn’t sit quite right and it unsettles you but you can’t work out why, or look away. Psychedelic drum and vibraphone solos desperately search for meaning in the chaos, but never lose sight of the deep groove.
